Blount County 911 is continuously taking applications for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher. Must be 18 or older, with HS Diploma or equivalent. Experience preferred but not required. Criminal background check, psychological and physical exams, typing test proficiency of at least 25 wpm, and capable of computer data entry are required. Must pass basic public safety telecommunicator cert course and stringent in-house training program.
